the entrance and gardens are in a tragic state, almost like they want to scare off guests. the wifi was practically non-existent, a major inconvenience. considering my exquisite taste, I expected a room upgrade as compensation for these dismal amenities but was utterly let down. I almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn’t.

Weak WiFi connectivity is frustrating!!! Access is tricky without a car, could deter some guests!!! Inconsistent cleaning standards are concerning!!! Noise from other guests disrupts the tranquility!!!

The chateau feels magical, especially with its enchanting towers. My kids really enjoyed our spacious room and the elegant decor. We also took advantage of nearby kayaking, which was perfect for our adventurous family. Dinner was a delightful French feast with a Swedish twist.

My kids wished for a little play area.

the chateau is such a beautiful place with its original charm intact. the swimming pool is large enough for a proper swim, and the hosts are incredibly welcoming. the dinner and breakfast were amazing, making for a great start and end to the day.
